Publicity Intern

Description:

All Eyes Media is seeking publicity interns for the 2017 summer semester. We're looking for highly motivated candidates who are able to receive college internship credit and who have an appreciation for all genres of music. We are an energetic, hard-working group, so a great attitude and enthusiasm to learn is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Interacting with staff to carry out client requirements such as drafting and scheduling media alerts and monitoring account activities
  • Researching and creating media lists of relevant media and news outlets
  • Coordinate with news media as assigned
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records
  • Providing administrative support, including database and website maintenance, answering phones and updating press files

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in college and pursuing a degree in music business, public relations, marketing or communications
  • Music industry experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inform via written, oral and visual media
  • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
  • A detail-oriented self-starter with problem solving skills, creativity, ambition, and a strong work ethic

Phase 3 Marketing and Communications

Description:

Phase 3 Marketing & Communications (Phase 3) is seeking a qualified intern to join our dynamic media team in our Nashville office. Phase 3 produces quality work for a variety of clients including Tombow, Nashville Wire Products, Bosch Rexroth, Ingersoll-Rand, Nexia, Lexis Nexis and more. Our team is seeking an intern who can participate in all stages of our client’s media campaigns from ideation to execution.

We are looking for someone with an insatiable curiosity for media planning and buying who would like to get practical experience that could lead to work in the advertising industry. This internship is about getting practical hands on experience in all kinds of media including digital, social and traditional channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with project briefs, proposals, job requests, etc.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as kicking off projects, organization and meeting and presentation preparation
  • Attending meetings and training sessions related to position
  • Assisting in the planning, creation and distribution of marketing materials
  • Tracking marketing and PR campaign reports for a variety of clients
  • Working with Marketing and PR Managers to develop 2016 client business reviews and 2017 planning strategies
  • Gaining exposure to each of Phase 3’s Centers of Excellence including: Branding, Public Relations, Web Development and Print Production
  • Meeting 1:1 with supervisor weekly/bi-weekly
  • Managing a full project workload and effectively meeting deadlines
  • Completing a self-managed capstone project over the course of the internship and presenting final findings to entire team

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate student in the Nashville area who is majoring in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or a related field
  • Interested in pursuing an internship to receive college credit
  • Good with math, and attention to detail
  • Good computer and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous advertising/marketing/PR experience or strong desire to learn
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience (preferred);
  • 24-40 hours per week for a full semester
